Emma
Emma has been a long-term coaching client who first came to me while exploring her next career move. At the time, she was on secondment and knew she didn’t want to return to her previous role. We worked together to clarify her interests, identify her strengths, and explore practical options for a new internal or external opportunity. Along the way, we addressed challenges such as imposter syndrome, self-doubt and limiting beliefs.
Over time, Emma grew in confidence, resilience and focus, and successfully secured what she described as her "dream job." Our coaching continued as she stepped into the new role, navigating new relationships, responsibilities and cultural shifts. We now meet every four to six weeks for ongoing 'maintenance coaching' to support her continued growth as a leader.
Dan
Dan began coaching as he stepped into a new role in a new organisation, leading a team for the first time. He needed space to explore the challenges and vulnerabilities that came with this transition, and to think through next steps and solutions. At times, it was difficult for him to admit to his line manager that he didn’t yet have all the answers.
Over six coaching sessions, we focused on building confidence, decision-making, leadership presence and relationships. The support was tailored to his needs and helped him navigate the uncertainties of the new role. By the end of our work together, Dan felt more self-assured and settled, with a stronger sense of his own leadership style.
Hana
Hana began coaching as she stepped into a new role within a new organisation. Our early sessions focused on the practical demands of the job, but over time, attention shifted to challenges around relationships and cultural fit. We explored her values and long-term aspirations, which eventually led Hana to consider a career change.
Through coaching, Hana made the decision to leave her role, begin freelance work and pursue a new qualification. This renewed clarity gave her the confidence to take bold steps, deepened her self-awareness, and helped her better understand what drives her decisions and behaviours.
