Coaching for Good
Welcome, I'm glad you've found your way here.
I'm Alice Jeary. I coach and consult with current and aspiring middle and senior leaders across education and the third sector - people doing demanding, values-driven work who need space to think clearly, lead confidently, and make decisions that matter.
My work combines two complementary strands. Through one-to-one and group coaching, I help leaders build the self-awareness, confidence and clarity to lead with authenticity and purpose. Through consultancy on strategy, facilitation, team development and programme design, I partner with organisations to strengthen culture, build effective teams, and create the conditions for people and purpose to thrive.
I bring many years of sector experience and a calm, considered presence to the work. Whether you're navigating change, building something new, or simply want a thinking partner who understands the realities of your world, I'd love to talk.
Coaching testimonials
Emma
“I found myself saying, “That’s a great question!” a lot! Alice asks questions of you that you don’t ask of yourself and it is this that makes the difference. My self-confidence has improved massively in the time I have been working with Alice and a lot of this is due to my improved self-awareness. I know when I am ‘getting in my own way’, and I also have strategies to stop it.”
Dan
“The sessions feel like protected thinking time, where Alice provides honest feedback, important challenges, and implementable solutions. Alice listens intently and can reflect my thoughts concisely, identifying pinch points or areas to explore further.”
Hana
“Coaching has brought me increased levels of self-awareness and an understanding of what I personally value, as well concrete plans for baby steps in the right direction towards living a more values-aligned life.”
My coaching style
My coaching style is warm, supportive, and gently challenging. I create a safe, reflective space where people feel truly heard and able to explore what matters most. Clients often say they leave sessions with greater clarity and confidence, empowered to take meaningful steps in their work and life. I bring a calm, thoughtful presence and use open, insightful questioning to help people shift perspectives and uncover new insights.
Flexible and responsive, my approach adapts to each person’s needs whether deepening self-awareness, solving practical challenges, or navigating change. I’m especially passionate about helping people reconnect with their values and lead authentically. Through our work, clients often build self-belief and make decisions aligned with the life and leadership they want to create. At the heart of my coaching is a commitment to connection, authenticity, and sustainable, positive change.
About me
My career has been built in education and the third sector leading teams, designing programmes, and working alongside people committed to making a difference. I moved into leadership early, often stepping into roles before I felt fully ready, and I learned first-hand what it asks of you to lead in mission-driven work: the weight of high expectations, the energy of holding space for others, and the discipline of continuing to grow yourself at the same time.
That lived experience is at the heart of how I work today. I bring genuine empathy to the leaders I coach because I've been in their shoes and the perspective of someone who has navigated the rewards, complexity and demands of leading in these sectors.
I was fortunate to be supported along the way by brilliant managers, mentors and coaches who challenged and encouraged me. Their belief helped me grow into a confident, values-led leader, and shaped my conviction that good support at the right moment can change the trajectory of someone's leadership and life.
Covid was a turning point. Slowing down gave me the space to reflect and reset, and eventually to step into work that fully aligns with my values: coaching and consulting with leaders and organisations doing important work in education and the third sector.
I'm not here to deliver quick fixes or to tell you how to lead. I'm here as a thinking partner, someone who listens deeply, asks the questions you may not be asking yourself, and helps you find clarity in what matters most. My work is guided by my core values of authenticity, growth, kindness and connection, and focused on helping leaders, teams and organisations create meaningful, lasting change.
What consultancy colleagues are saying
Working with Alice on the design of a new series of events for educators was an absolute pleasure. Having known and worked with her for many years at Teach First, we already knew how talented and collaborative she is and working with her on this project lived up to that reputation. The first thing to highlight is that Alice listens, and listens some more! By taking the time to ask lots of questions, her understanding of what we were trying to achieve from the series was impressive, and she brought our ideas to life with creativity, clarity and attention to detail, kindly offering to bring consistency to other areas we hadn’t even included in the brief.
The end result was a comprehensive document that perfectly captured the tone and ambition of this project. We’re very grateful for Alice’s expertise; her collaborative approach, responsiveness to feedback and understanding of how to communicate complex ideas in a clear way are just a few of the reasons we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alice’s services.
Roya & Helen - Event Managers - The Teaching Awards Trust
Alice has been an invaluable partner to our team’s work, providing a blend of consulting, coaching, and thought leadership that has elevated the way we approach our work. Alice worked closely to refine strategy, facilitated workshops that unlocked new ways of thinking, and supported team members through one-to-one coaching that built confidence and clarity.
As a team, we are now more aligned, collaborative, and forward-focused. Personally, I’ve gained fresh perspectives and practical tools that have developed my thinking.
Alice’s strengths lie in her ability to listen actively, and her talent for asking the right questions at the right time. She brings energy, insight, and a genuine commitment to helping people succeed, she consistently meets us where we are.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Alice to any organisation seeking transformative, people-centred support. She is making a lasting difference.

What I offer
-
Sometimes as leaders, we’re so focused on supporting others that we forget to make space for ourselves. One-to-one coaching offers a calm, confidential space to slow down, reflect, and focus on your own growth and wellbeing. Together, we can explore what matters most to you. Whether that’s finding clarity in your leadership, navigating challenges, or reconnecting with your purpose.
-
I am passionate about creating highly effective teams where trust and psychological safety are at the heart of great performance. Group coaching and facilitating creates opportunities for teams and peer groups to build deeper trust and connection. It’s a space for honest conversations, shared learning, and growing together. Helping to strengthen relationships, solve problems, improve communication, and nurture a sense of collective purpose.

Alongside coaching, I offer consultancy to help organisations and leaders grow in ways that align with their values:
Leadership Development: Helping leaders grow in self-awareness, confidence, and authenticity.
