What is coaching?
Coaching enables you to move from where you are now to where you want to be through a supportive process of questions. It’s not about giving advice or suggestions and we don’t delve into the past. It is a productive way to move things forward. Coaching works towards defined goals and empowers you to take your own course of action.
Who is coaching for?
Coaching is appropriate for everyone. If you’re feeling ready to make a change in your life, and are receptive to a new way of exploring your life or career goals, coaching is for you.
Is coaching the same as therapy or counselling?
No. A therapist might work with clients experiencing significant levels of distress which is impacting on their everyday life and explore the current concerns and anxieties of the client. Whereas coaching is future-focussed. Coaching clients will have a desire and readiness to make changes in their lives.
